William and Eliza Lovina Babbitt Chandler

Will Chandler was born 7 Mar 1882 in Calvin, Oneida, ID, son of Thomas and Mary (Polly) Catmull Chandler, who had emigrated from England.
He was baptized and confirmed in 1891.
Eliza was born 2 Oct 1883 in Snowville, Box Elder, UT, daughter of Richard and Fidelia Chapman Babbitt, and 9th of 14 children.
She was baptized 20 Aug 1892, at the age of 8.
They were married 7 Mar 1906 in Pocatello, Bannock, ID, when he was 24, on his birthday. She was 22. She had married William Parish in Albion, ID, on 5 Dec 1900, and had two little girls, Flossie and Golda, when she became a widow, after Wil was killed when struck by a hay derrick. Will Chandler became an instant father of two.

William Chandler arrived in Elba, ID – see Elba Ward history, “The First One Hundred Years, Cassia-Oakley Idaho Stake, 1887-1987.
He died 16 Jul 1954 in Rupert, ID, at the age of 72.
She died four years before him on 31 Dec 1950, in Elba, ID, at the age of 67. They are both buried in the Elba Cemetery.
